Christmas in the U.S 2017 pt 1

Hey everyone!

After finally finishing my Bachelors degree in Germany, I got the opportunity to visit my family and friends in the States for Christmas! I'll be adding pictures to this post through-out December!

While I'm very happy to be back, but I'm looking forward to return to my second + third homes in Germany and France. It's a wonderful but difficult thing to have a life established in 3 countries ^^

Eden, North Carolina

I flew into Raleigh, North Carolina, where my parents were waiting for me (mind you, I haven't seen them in over 3 1/2 years)

From there, we drove to a small town in North Carolina to visit my 91 year-old Granny :)

Walmart was among the first American stores I visited. Why? Because you can find just about anything there xD (we needed to buy food anyway)

Speaking of the things you find in Walmart: there are always sales in the U.S. This TV is huge!! That's a good deal.

And shelves of fresh steak :O

Lover's Leap, Virginia (along our drive to Michigan)

Blue skies in Virginia :)

Passing the state line!

Michigan

Reunited with my best friend, Ashley!
I usually don’t eat much junk food as I’ve been modeling ocassionally, but there are certain foods here I had to try again :) Cheetos, pizza rolls, and a delicious cheese-ball!

We also baked sugar cookies and bourbon-pecan cupcakes :)

We had a small snow storm during my first few days back in Michigan ^^ Its already starting to melt today (December 19) but it was pretty while it lasted!

Our Christmas decorations went up a few days ago :) My Mom has a huge collection of pretty Santas, Snowmen, and other Christmas decorations.

Our tree is always decorated with ornaments bought and passed on through-out the years :) Its nice to see some of these ornaments from years ago. Each one has a nice memory.

Like this ornament. I made this for my Mom when I was 5 :)

I went Christmas shopping in the Lansing Meridian Mall :) I didn’t buy these slippers or pillows, but I thought they were funny ^^ You find the strangest things in U.S stores lol

Again, I’m trying to stay away from junk food, but these are the best!!

Did I mention I wen to an ugly Christmas sweater party? Lol And I wasn’t the ugliest.

A nice dinner with friends at a Mexican restaurant :D

And family Christmas with my cousins and their families :)

Now dressed in comfy winter clothes and watching Christmas movies :) I’m so tired though from my busy schedule! I have plans about every day, and only 3 weeks to visit everyone! But its nice to see everyone again!

Monaco 2017

Had a fantastic time celebrating my friend Annika's 23rd birthday in Monaco. The place is absolutely beautiful, I would recommend it to anyone :)
