Last month in America pt 2 (Las Vegas)

I had the best Boss in the world. I am so very happy to have been employed for the last 2 years by Asset Track Technologies and Schultz & Associates. For my last trip with the company, my Boss took me to Las Vegas. I must say: I had the most amazing time!!

 

Upon arrival, I noticed the slot machines lined up all over in the airport. I must say I was not so surprised. ;-)

 

The casinos were really nice! I stayed in a very nice suite on the top floor. There was a mall in every casino, something I wasn't really expecting. It was all very beautiful too. That fountain was inside the casino, and it was indoors; the roof was painted like the sky.

 

I went to a place that was like little Italy and a place like France. I also went on the world's largest observation wheel (?); it was pretty much a ferris wheel. I went on the world's highest thrill-ride on top of the Stratosphere, and I bungee-jumped 855 feet (105 stories) directly off the Stratosphere. I also ate at Carlo's bakery (the Cake Boss) and one of Chef Gordon Ramsay's restaurants (Hell's Kitchen). And I ate at a really nice restaurant, whose name I forget, with the best food I've ever ate in my life!

 

I am very happy to have had this opportunity and I can't wait for my next trip to Vegas! :-) 

 

 

Last Month in America pt 1

I recently visited my Aunt and Uncle in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It was pretty fun! I stayed the night in Mackinaw City before I drove over to visit them. When I got there, they took me to the mines and we went fishing after. :-)

June 1st...

Cannot believe it's already June. That means I have less than 2 months left...I fly out next month! :O I am starting to feel pretty nervous as I'm selling/giving away the last of my belongings. I'm excited to start over new, but there is always that "fear of the unknown". Come to think of it, I would probably have the exact same fear if I just moved out of state. ;-)
