Spent the day touring the beautiful old-town Estavayer Le Lac and then relaxed at the new beach :-)
It's really cool because the whole town is still fortified within the walls. The original watch-towers are still in tact. Parts of this castle are over 800 years old... so crazy!
The day ended with delicious cheese fondu :D
Second day of my mini-vacation with Yann :)
We spent the afternoon at a really nice butterfly garden with nocturnal and farm animals, and insects and birds. It was a really nice place to visit!
The rest of the afternoon and evening was spent on the lake, resting in the shade and eating Mövenpick ice cream.
Now, it's back to our beautiful, 4 * vacation apartment. The jacuzzi is calling! The perfect treat after a long day of walking and sight-seeing.
